Sandy Valley alumni meet up in Florida for a warm reunion.

Brandon Mall Food Court



As expected, magical moments abounded as 23 Valley types met for Sunday lunch at the Brandon, Florida Food Court on 2-28-2010. The bonds created by growing up “Valley” are special and certainly are to be cherished. Exceptional food court cuisine was enjoyed by:

Saturday Kickoffs

The Kecks made Lido Beach their weekend home and treated Roger, Carol and I to lunch at Cosimo’s in Sarasota. Both the Kecks and Roger made quick round trips from Ohio to be part of the festivities.



Saturday evening dinner at Sarasota’s Café Baci was the site where 10 of us (Roger, Kecks, Barb, Stelllutos, Reicoskys and Bafiles) met for more Italian (coincidence?) vittles and nostalgia.



Sunday Conclusion

Nearly everyone journeyed the 45 miles from the Brandon Mall to the Bafile homestead for dessert in the form of key lime pie, which was certainly a secondary consideration to the desire to continue the reunion comradeship. I hope future SVHS Florida gatherings become so well attended that

I’ll have to rent the club house to serve dessert.
