MEETINGS NOW:
There is a meeting at this time for all freshman girls interested in playing basketball this winter in the gym.

Attention all softball players: There is a meeting now in front of Miss Williams room #109. Please attend even if you are in a winter sport.

ACTIVITY/COMMUNITY NEWS:
The Sandy Valley Band and Band Boosters are having their annual fruit sale through November 26th with fruit delivery on December 5 and 6th. There are many options of fruit available such as pink grapefruit, navel oranges and tangelos as well as apples and pears. Also, mixed baskets are available in three sizes! Contact any band member, Vicki Fonte (330-866-2250) or the Sandy Valley Band office (330-866-3105). Help support the SV bands and enjoy some great holiday fruit!

Attention chess team, there is no practice today. There will be practice right after school on Monday.

Let it snow! Let is snow! Let it snow! This is just a friendly reminder that ski club money and forms are due next Wednesday to Mrs. Gordon-Coy! Make the checks out to Boston Mills/Brandywine. If you have any questions about snowboarding/skiing attire, just ask Mrs. Gordon-Coy.

Attention freshman class, there is a meeting Friday during activity time in the auditorium to finish up our fundraiser. Please bring your order forms and any questions you may have to the meeting.

Student council will meet tomorrow during activity period in the auditorium.

Cardinals for Christ will be having a meeting this Thursday after school in room 135. All are welcome to attend.

The following young men need to meet with Andrea Galluci in the high school office tomorrow morning at 9:15AM, with their football team game day shirts on, for a picture. Zach M., Corey F., Cody H., John F., Cody W., Zach R., Cole W., and Ryan C.

GUIDANCE NEWS:
Seniors planning to apply for admission at Ohio State. To be eligible for scholarships, you must have all admissions materials (including ACT scores) into Ohio State by December 1st. It must be RECEIVED BY Dec 1st. Also see Mr. Rarric about an alumni scholarship application.

Seniors who have applied for admission at Stark State and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 are eligible to apply for an Academic Scholarship. Applications in guidance or online. Deadline is Feb 1st.

Seniors, please remember your promise to have all admissions applications completed before Thanksgiving. If you apply online, request a transcript from the guidance office.

Congratulations to senior, Samantha L. on her acceptance to the University of Akron. Way to go Samantha!

Seniors who have applied to Kent State Tuscarawas Campus or who may be interested in Kent Tusc. should definitely complete the Kent Tusc scholarship application. See Mr. Rarric.

SPORTS NEWS:
Okay Buckeye Fans, it is the Michigan Week! The Wolverines are traveling to the "Horseshoe" on Saturday, November 22nd for their annual showdown. Teachers and students are asked to show their O-H-I-O spirit on Friday, November 21st, with their Ohio State Buckeyes apparel. Show your support on Friday and let's go Bucks!

Cheerleading and gymnastic practice has been canceled for Thursday after school. There will be practice after school on Friday.
